Mega Man Revolution - A Free Application For Windows
Mega Man 3's sand stage was the inspiration for Sand Man's powers in Mega-Man Revolution. The sand shield and sand control are the game's main tools. In Mega Man 3, a mysterious benefactor called Dr. Wily had created the Ion Blade, which he used to try to take over the world and foil Remir's plans. This weapon, renamed the Hyperball, is the Duo's main weapon in the Remix.
While Mike Crain stopped working on Mega Man Revolution, he never really gave up on it. While the original download page has gone belly up, other users from Sprites INC are working to improve the original build. One such user is ACE_Spark, of Mega Man's Christmas Carol fame. He has added the character Proto Man to the game as well. After playing Mega Man Revolution, you can try to beat the game's end-level bosses.
While it's not a perfect game, Mega Man Revolution is still an enjoyable game. Although it lacks the polish of its predecessor, it's still one of the best Mega Man games in the series. Although it's a bit difficult to beat Wily and the other robots, it's worth a try. However, Mega Man Revolution has some bugs, including frequent crashes after getting an Achievement in a stage, and it's not very easy to save and load in Light's Lab.
Fans of Mega Man can enjoy MegaMan Revolution's fast-paced platform gameplay and wide variety of characters. While the game's graphics look better than the original Mega Man games, its soundtrack doesn't live up to its cult status. Mega Man Revolution's music is not quite as good as the original, but the fan community has been working hard to make the game as faithful as possible. The game is free to download and will eventually feature co-op mode.
